Annlee Ellingson is a Los Angeles-based business journalist and film critic for L.A. Biz. She serves as treasurer of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association. Annlee previously served as content editor and principal film critic at Moving Pictures and worked at BoxOffice Magazine in various editorial capacities, including editor. Her reviews have also appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Paste Magazine, Los Angeles CityBeat, Los Angeles Weekly, Minneapolis/St. Paul CityPages, and the Minnesota Daily. In addition, Annlee is nonfiction editor of the literary journal Exposition Review and a mentor for WriteGirl, for which she served as book manager for the anthology This Moment: Bold Voices from WriteGirl. Annlee holds a B.A. in film studies from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Professional Writing degree from the University of Southern California.
