She began her career poring over film criticism as an editor at Rotten Tomatoes. She also served as an editor at Movieline and trade reporter at Deadline Hollywood, among other publications, and as co-chief film critic at Movies.com. A graduate of UC Berkeley, she has covered Sundance, Toronto, SXSW, Cannes, the Oscars, the Spirit Awards, and everything in between, from cat conventions to Fantastic Fest. She loves all karaoke but not necessarily all movies about karaoke, woefully rare as those may be.
